Wedding dress wraps the bride in light

BioBride
Catherine Hazin, Kelly Hofer & Dianne Gibson combined fibre optics, LED’s, pulse senor, and ornate dress making to create a wedding dress bathed in pools and points of light. A subset of the lights flash in response to the wearers heartbeat.

I personally like the effect created by pools of light at the base of the dress. It took over 300 hours of work to create, but clearly well worth it.
There are some great photos on Kelly Hofer’s site showing the various stages of construction.
