Motion sensitive electronic tutu
The Brooklyn Ballet company initiated a succesful kickstarter project to fund the costumes for an up and coming production of the Nutcracker suite, central among these costumes is a motion sensing tutu with cascading LED lights. This involves a collaboration of a number of artists together with Bill Ward of hacker collective NYC Resistor, to re-envisage this classic with modern influences. The following video shows an example of a protoype tutu in action
