The “Hikaru Skirts” from Japanese designer Kiyoyuki Amano, use LED’s to create a pool of reflected light around the thighs of the wearer. Further, the coloured lights change as the wearer rotates, the rotation being sensed through the use of solid state gyroscopes. The LED’s fit well with the Cosplay influence of the designs and would be highly distinctive when worn for a night out. Of course you will need to remember to charge your skirt up before venturing out.
Amano has a website with numerous images and short clips of the garments being worn. However, there is no mention at the skirts being commercially available.
