Pay with a wave of your sleeve?

I’m guessing that this is a rather a tongue in cheek application; the embedding of NFC contactless payment chip in the cuff of a tailored suit, so you can pay for small items with the wave of your jacket. However, most of the tech. press seem to be taking this seriously. Clearly, creating such a function is, given the passive nature of NFC, perfectly doable, but not very practical. The article mentions that you don’t have to take your wallet with you, but the logic unravels here, as contactless payment is limited to modest sums like £20, which means you couldn’t even buy a round of drinks in a London pub !-) An additional burden would be the need have embedded payment in each suit. It is bad enough keeping track of my cards at the moment, without the worry of jackets and other items of clothing that might be endowed with the power of payment. The video is good fun, especially for those that aspire to a Clooney lifestyle!
