Haptic insoles guide you home

Lechal

Although using haptic feedback through your shoes to guide you while navigating is not a new concept, Lechal from Hyderabad, India are the first to commercialise the idea for a consumer market. They have developed insoles that provide subtle haptic feedback when wirelessly triggered by a smartphone; essentially the insoles are type of smartphone peripheral. The insoles are expected to retail for around £100, though Ferrari have already built it into their iconic red running shoe.

Power comes from a rechargeable battery, which should last for several days.
