intelligent ‘plaster’ to monitor patients

PlasterElectronics
A team of US and Korean scientist have developed a plaster that can accurately measure muscle activity in patients with movement disorders, such as Parkinsons. The plaster has the properties of being flexible and stretchable, which are highly desirable attributes when thinking about integrating electronics into clothes. Hopefully, this is point the way to future components that can be added to our wearable tool kit.
The plaster itself is only a prototype at this stage and will need to be connected to external electronics at this stage, though I guess you could use wireless charging from a garment to power the device.
