Recently, at the NBA NBA’s All-Start Technology Summit, Commissioner Adam Silver reveil the “smart jersey” that can change the name and number on the shirt using a smartphone app. Sadly, very little information was given on how this might work and the shirt was also not worn during the demo.
A similar idea was show by a student at the Fashion Design workshop at Shih Chien Uni, Taiwan (video). In that case the garment also had an animation triggered by the player scoring!
