Early work with fashion milliner Monique Lee, experimenting with LED’s and sensor to create dynamic and reactive hats. The first hat has a slow gentle pulsing blue glow.
The second hat reacts to sound when startled; as the noise level rises the lights on the hat begin to pulse with apprehension. If this is followed by a sharp sound, such as a clap or bang, the lights circle rapidly as if frightened. I suspect that this is the first example of nervous millinery!
